The day began with excitement and laughter as Julia and her bridal party got ready, the summer light pouring through the windows. Across the hotel, Joshua shared fun moments with his groomsmen, full of anticipation and emotion as the ceremony drew near. There was such a peaceful energy in the air — that beautiful mix of joy, calm, and excitement that often comes when two soulmates are about to say “I do.”

Their outdoor ceremony took place at Silvertip’s iconic gazebo, with panoramic views of the Bow Valley stretching behind them. Framed by lush greenery and dramatic peaks, Julia and Joshua exchanged vows surrounded by their closest family and friends. One detail that stood out beautifully was their florals — vibrant, thoughtfully designed, and the perfect pop of colour for a summer celebration. The blooms brought a fresh, joyful energy that complemented the natural mountain backdrop perfectly.

After the ceremony, we made our way to a nearby field in Canmore for portraits — a quiet, open space with sweeping views of the Bow Valley and surrounding peaks. The dramatic landscape added an incredible sense of scale and beauty to their photos, and Julia and Joshua were so natural and connected in front of the camera. It was a peaceful moment for them to take it all in, away from the busyness of the day.
